Отлично, обнаружение ClamAV — худшее из всех, ClamAV с дополнительными сигнатурами содержит много ложных срабатываний, Avast всё же пропускает некоторые вирусы, но это намного лучший вариант. Однако есть и редкие (доступные и работающие в режиме демона) альтернативы. Я пока не успел протестировать Dr.Web, но кажется, это единственная действительно стоящая альтернатива.

Да, это работает, но нужно использовать другой репозиторий.

Я использовал эту команду, и тогда в разделе администратора добавилось "avast 1". Это то же самое, что и "avast: 1"? И как понять, что Avast работает с PMG, если в логах я вижу, что вирус обнаружил только ClamAV?

Эти настройки сохраняются в подразделе admin файла /etc/pmg/pmg.conf с использованием следующих ключей конфигурации:  

avast: (по умолчанию = 0) Использовать Avast Virus Scanner (/bin/scan). Для активации этой функции нужно купить и установить Avast Core Security.  

Я установил 30-дневную пробную версию Avast Core Security, следуя этим инструкциям:  

Debian/Ubuntu  
1. Добавьте репозиторий Avast в системные репозитории  
# echo "deb http://deb.avast.com/lin/repo debian release" \ >> /etc/apt/sources.list  
# apt key add /path/to/avast.gpg  
# apt-get update  

2. Установите пакет Avast и, по желанию, пакеты avast-fss и avast-proxy.  
# apt-get install avast  
# apt-get install avast-fss  
# apt-get install avast-proxy  

Активация  
Скопируйте приложенный лицензионный файл license.avastlic в каталог "/etc/avast" для активации продукта.  
# cp /path/to/license.avastlic /etc/avast  

Как сказать PMG, что я хочу использовать сканер Avast вместе с ClamAV?
